Question Setting up a Gameinfo.txt for a SP Ep2 Mod that uses TF2 particles/sounscapes/etc

I am creating a SP Episode 2 Mod, called Half-Life 2: The Lost Canals, and it has at some point the TF2 style waterfall, which requires TF2 particles/soundscapes/materials, but I don't want it to be a bulky Mod that requires you to have all of the orange box, so is there a way of extracting the particles and soundscapes from the GCF and placing them in my Mod?

Please respond back,
L99

Thanks, but I have chosen to go down the path of ripping the files I need from the TF2 content gcf, and as TF2 is based off the base source engine, c+pasting the content will not likely disrupt any existing "Things" in the HL2 base content.

Thanks again,

Just use GFCScape and extract your wanted files...

Do note that I am pretty positive TF2 models need to be converted for SRC 2007 use, everything else should port right over.

I only intend to get a particle system.
