Red face Diablo 2 Immortal - TQIT Mod

Hey

Over the last two years or so I've beem making this Diablo Mod for Titan Quest, which just received the final major update.

With TQ sales on Steam and all, I thought I'd let you know.

It mods the masteries, enemies, difficulty balance, items... basically EVERYTHING except the terrain and story. Especially if you are looking for more varied enemies and a D2-like challenge, this is the mod for you.
And it's custom loadable in the menu, so you don't have to mess up your original files or anything.

Here's a few videos, and here is the final release.

Enjoy!

Features

- Six fully playable Diablo 2 classes
- Original characters, sounds and designs
- Unique new skill types
- Rewritten game balance, nerfed exploits, support for "weak" damage types
- New enemy skills and notably better AI
- Proper scaling and a steeply rising challenge across 12 acts
- Javelins and dexterity-based swords
- Stat hybrid and class mixture support
- Major sound overhaul
- Realistic resistances for all enemies, immunities in Hell
- More champions, heroes, ambushes, guest and secret monsters
- Epic boss fights and large-scale endgame quests
- Famous Diablo 2 loot and many bonus items to find
- New item sets for all classes, and reworked bonuses for all old sets
- Lilith to D2 Lilith assimilation ability
- All of the latest Fanpatch Fix changes

P.S.
You can also find it on the German and Spanish forums, among others.

Another update - and D2I has been combined with Lilith!

Meaning that now you can also play it in a new world, with Diablo music... basically a total conversion of the original game.

Absolutely no interest in the mod since I've still got Diablo II installed to get my fix, but I must commend you.

Your take on the original spells and abilities are absolutely brilliant. If you're still working on it- keep up the amazing work!

I'm always working on expanding it unless announced otherwise.

Version 1.44 came out two weeks ago, adding the other prime evils and some high difficulty quests.

Can I still play this if I have Underlord mod installed, or would I need to uninstall Underlord first?

This mod looks phenomenal. I'm going to have to re-play vanilla IT before delving into it, though. It's been sooooo long since I've played the game.

Exclamation New version released

There has been a big update to Diablo 2 Lilith, "diabolizing" the story of Jalavia along with some general improvements.

Also, this bumps the original D2 Immortal to version 1.45.

@mitsuhashi
You'd have to re-learn a few things anyway, since D2I takes a generally more "realistic" approach and is harder to exlpoit with the usual methods.

I'd say the current update is the best time to start, especially with D2 Lilith.
- For you, as well as any D3 players who have refunded their money by now.

@XOmniverse
You can - it should be OK. So far I've heard about some minor glitches caused by doing so, but generally D2I changes so many things that most of what UL did gets overwritten anyway.

There has been another update.

After v1.60 basically completed the mod, v1.62 fixes a few remining bugs, and adds some bonus bits and pieces.

You can find the latest downloads at ModDB and on the mod's forum at Titanquest.net.
