Objects you would like to see?

Hey guys... I'm just getting into making mods for Skyrim, and I'd like to learn how to add original content into the game (i.e., stuff I've modeled myself). However, I don't have a lot of ideas for what kind of objects to add. Is there any sort of item that you other modders have been looking for that doesn't exist in the game yet? Perhaps I can help.

A wider variety of creatures in the world. Both nuetral and foe. Bring the world to life! Mountain lions, beavers, birds, stuff like that. (IMO)

Some new weapon types.

Crossbows.
Spears.
Whips.
Flails.
Throwing weapons.

Ok, those would all be fun, but keep in mind, I'm a novice, so anything I do will have to be pretty simple/static.

Actually, the suggestion about the animals gave me an idea... it might be fun to add in some more plants/food to the game. Maybe new cooking recipes? I mean, a Nord's gotta eat more than just apples, potatoes, carrots, leeks, and cabbage. Obviously, they'll have to make sense for the climate, so no oranges or bananas, and so on. Maybe radishes? Onions? I'll have to do some research to see what else would grow in such a climate.

Hmm... Don't think I'll be able to help you there. It would be fun, but I'm trying to stick with items that belong in Skyrim's setting.

However, on that note, Skyrim needs more towers. Big ones.

Climbing gear. Even if it's simply 'Boots of Scaling' that somewhat increase the permissible steepness of slopes you can navigate.

I like that idea. Climbing the rocky areas is a pain in the ♥♥♥ in this game.
