Gamer need of help

Ok so my freind just gifted me Day of Defeat Source after reviewing the games on vac banned:

So he bought me it so i can play with him and when i joined the server it said i cannot connect to the server because i am VAC banned and i looked at my list again and it added Day of Defeat. I didn't miss it, It actually just added it self to the list.
Newly Updated list ( It also adds mods to the list u can see the mod No More Room in Hell)

i dont know what you're trying to do. get dods un vac'd? that won't happen because they vac ban based on game engine. your best option is to make a new account and buy the game again. it's only 10$.

But thats just BS. They cant just say ur not banned on it and then you play it it says, o Sorry your banned and then adds to the list. Thats just stealing money

In the first list you will see games that use the same engine as DODS. When someone is VAC banned they are banned from all games that use that engine.

If you bought DODS after looking at the original list or played it after looking at the original list it then sees that you have another game on an engine that has a VAC ban & will apply the ban to that game as well.

Cheat & suffer the consequences imho. You can never play a game that uses the OB engine or hl engine

I wish it told me i was banned the whole engine instead of saying some games. It even said some games i didn't have. They should have put that i was banned on it instead of getting my friends money stolen from steam.
