Tiny but annoying bug

Can't find this reported yet quickly, so I thought I'd bring it up:
When playing the tutorial, you get those pop-up messages telling you about for example power-ups, those pause the game. Once paused, if you press escape to reach the menu and then close the menu again, the pop-up message is gone and you can't unpause the game anymore.
