I read some news on the TF2 blog and found out about AVA. I wanted to try it, so I clicked the download link on the post. Afterwards, Steam started and the downloaded too started, but it didn't appear anywhere on my library.

I can't even pause it and it's eating all my bandwidth, which is annoying. I don't have the best internet connection, so I have to exit Steam in order to use my internet for something else.

How can I fix this?

Honestly i do not know, never had this issue.

If you can not find it in your Steam Library (check the little game filter arrow), your best option is to send an email to Steam support.
Or call them over the phone if you are in a hurry.

Thanks for replying this quickly.

I navigated all the way to my SteamApps folder and deleted the GCF. That solved the problem.

However if steam tries to redownload the game, you might need a different solution.

There, there's a file called "ava-file.ncf" or something like that. The name of the file starts with ava, and it's an .ncf file. Delete that file, and then, on SteamApps folder, go to "common", and there should be an "Alliance of Valiant Arms" folder. Delete that folder as well. Then, restart Steam.
