Difficulty

Is it just me or is this game obnoxiously difficult in places? I'm playing on normal and getting absolutely smashed to pieces repeatedly. Currently in a cave with four archers, one caster, two regular melee and four super melee who can knock me down with every hit. Any tips on how to avoid insta-death or the alternate perma-stun death?

Level up farin explosive bolt. I too had the hardest time on my first normal playtrough. Heroic and legendary are much easier for some reason.
