Help me please

Ok. I am coming back to 1.6 for the first time in a while and I am having some weird issues. The first is that pretty much half of my keys are bound to something that just sends me into a different server if I press them. Tried to take a screenshot just now and even f5 sends me into another server...

The other is the server browser. I go to join a game and it instead just puts me into some other game. Viewing server info does the same (shows some other game.)

Other than that, coming back from source has been great. 1.6 reg is fantastic, all my shots hit. And to top it off, the map layouts are infinitely better than source, especially inferno.

Delete your config file. Then relaunch the game. This should re-generate a new config file. You can set this file to read-only to avoid the problem.

yeah, I did that after thinking about it for a sec. Thanks though! And it did work by the way, although the server browser is just all sorts of messed up still.

Do you even read the threads you post your thoughtless replies to? Right above you, the OP says he was able to solve his problem by something significantly easier than deleting and reinstalling his game.
