The game that keeps on giving.

I am simply loving Skyrim,a quick recap.

I bought the game at release and went with my normal healing/mage class that I always play on MMo's or RPG's,after about 20 levels I just found it too easy so stopped playing for a bit(basically waiting for mods or patch's).

Anyway after the high res pack was released I decided to start again but this time go outside my comfort zone and roll a warrior type using 1 hand and shield.I am having a great time,it took some getting used to as like I said I have never played this type of guy before in over 10 years of playing RPG's(although mostly MMoRPG).

I just finished making my guy a full glass set including weapons and then upgrading everything and placing enchants on the armour.

Maybe the only problem I have is I can maybe expect the wife to file for divorce if I ask her 1 more time to come and look at what I made
(Us healing types normally just go the Alchemy route).

Is anyone else stepping outside of there comfort zone with the game and trying a new "class"?

I am also doing something I never would have tried in Morrowind or Oblivion. I am playing a character that is a hunter and lives off the land. The only city I have gone to is Riften to sell/buy things but otherwise I avoid cities. I am still a low level character so I sneak into caves and forts to steal food but don't worry about clearing out the enemies. I am having fun doing this as well. So far my character is staying in the southern parts of Skyrim.

I've just started and I'm lost without classes. I rolled a Breton prisoner nobody. I was try to use magic, didn' work too well, try bows...back to sword and shield. There is no way I will not wind up with a weakling, I'm using everything. My sword sounds like a thin stick whistling away. Am I hitting anything? No idea. Just made it to level 2 I guess. The snow makes me sleepy. When can I get out of this dungeon of Durags, I'm going to run out of healing.

Hahaha....that's how I felt when I first started playing this game. It's my first RPG and I had no idea how to do anything. Somehow I survived and have worked my was up to a 53 level 2-handed greatsword wielder. Still not so great with the magic but I'm having fun.

Playing a warrior who carries a 2 handed sword in heavy armor (in upgraded Blades armor now). Loving it.

I've even managed to get my sneak up to 49. My goal is to reach 60 and maybe do the Brother quest line. I can't backstab, though I suppose I could but I like this big sword.

It is when you use mods that make magic more useful and with a quicker mana regen.
