How do you get coupons?

Really? i saw a guy with 1700+ coupons? you have to buy them from somewhere or how can i get one by myself?

you could only obtain them via the winter sale giveaway, which has ended!

If you are referring to gift coupons, they were part of the Holiday Sales Event from Christmas.

Sorry, forgot to mention im talking about price reduction coupons such as -50%, -40% etc.

So you cannot obtain these, by doing achievements or something similar?

Yep, those price reduction coupons could only be obtained via the christmas giveaway. You obtained them for completing objectives given by Valve. They cannot currently be earned by completing achievements (although I expect that this might become a possibility after March 1st).

Be careful if you start getting into trading and people start offering coupons as they are about to expire in a couple weeks. The few I have left expire on March 12th I believe.
