critical mass demo starts and crashes with avast 7.0.1407

After updating to Avast Free edition version 7.0.1407, critical mass demo starts (gets to main menu, music playing, etc) and a few seconds later crashes.

console.log file is not updated and if I delete it prior to starting critical mass demo, no console.log file is created.

If I disable avast's real-time file shield, then critical mass demo starts without problem.

Have already emailed manicgamestudio@gmail.com about this problem.

Hi,

Thank you for informing us of the problem. Unfortunately we have no control over what your anti virus software chooses to block. I would suggest trying to add an exception for the game within your anti virus software.

I've just uninstalled Avast 7. The auto sandbox mode has caused me nothing but trouble and the final straw was it was actually causing my computer to bluescreen in Fortix 2.
