Enhanced graphic options for NVidia users like AA & SSAO
For NVidia users, you can enable anti-aliasing for Darkness 2 by using NVidia Inspector:
-Set Anti-Aliasing Compatibility to 0x00401205 (Darkness II) Now does anyone know if ambient occlusion (SSAO) can be forced in Darkness 2 via NVidia Inspector? I don't see any compatibility option for Darkness 2. Also, does anyone know if transparency anti-aliasing can also be forced without causing visual bugs? I forced 2x SSAA for transparency AA, and I kept getting these strange visual bugs. I imagine this game can look fantastic with SSAO forced. Please, any info on if this is possible would be great. |

After some testing, it turns out forcing anti-aliasing causes strange artifcacts. This is only when there's light sources around. Looks like this is another Dead Space anti-aliasing debacle. Sure you can turn it on, but you need to overlook some issues.
Anyone know if SSAO can be forced? |
