Vintage weapons and levels (in weps & hats)

Hi!!

I have 2 questions:

If I have one vintage weapon in, for example, lvl 5.. Will it always has same level, or it increase by the time?

-What means his level? Is better a higher or lower level? WHy hats/weps has different levels?

It means absolutely nothing and they stay the same.

Thanks. Very useful know always the same level and doesn't mean anything.

So I don't understand why people on trading says: "Want lvl 38 ambassador". "Want lvl 92 xxxx". I don't understand that :/.

And.. why are the levels, so? If it doesn't mean anything, why are different levels? And why can, for example, the same wep be level 3 or 33?

there was a period of time somewhere after the spy+sniper update where all the weapon drops had random levels (lvl 1-100)

so when mannconomy rolled around they converted to vintage and retained their levels

and to answer your qn, levels dont do anything and wont change but damn they look good in your pack no?

Yeah it means nothing, when you get or buy a hat it just generates a random number between 1-100. So really there's nothing you can do except trade it for a "better" number.

Basically people want their lucky number. Some collect just one number and try to get it on all of their weapons.
