make the pomson drain cloak/ubercharge per hit
So what am i talking about? I'm saying that since pomson projectiles damage enemies multiple times, they should drain for each time the enemies hit, instead of taking one hit and losing the ability to activate that DR of yours.
Not only will this encourage actually aiming and lessen complaints about a "gigantic" hitbox, but also make the drain less of an annoyance for actually dodgy medic/spy! EDIT: to clear up confusion some people had, i was also thinking of reducing that number to 3-5 percent cloak/ubercharge drained per hit, not 10-20 percent good lord no! I was thinking of just removing the penetration on it similar to the Manmelter.

No. No no no no no no. ♥♥♥♥ no.
I would ONLY accept this IF it was a 1% (Uber) and 2% (Cloak) drain per hit but the drains are completely stupid ALREADY so NO. |

at most you can hit them 3 times (damages once every 45 milliseconds), so i'm pretty sure losing 3% ubercharge or 6% cloak is significant (maybe on a DR spy)

If you want to buff the Pomson, it comes with a cost. |

This would be a buff how? Assuming the drain-per-hit is reduced to make a direct hit drain no more than now, just being clipped would be a lot less problematic as it would only take about 1 second to regain what was lost... |

To me it would make more sense that all 3 get the penalty, which i would have expected to be this way already. However, i also think that the pomson shouldnt prevent dead ringers or ubercharges from being activated once they touched 100%. That way if you get knocked to 90% when you are ready to strike you at least dont lose the other 90% aswel because that 10% is often lethal to lose. Especialy since it already takes over 10 seconds to charge it back to 100. And as the engy can reload faster he basicly has a very effective system. so yes, when making it easier to apply the penalty make it get the cost of a less extreme one. 1% ubercharge lost is a bit overkill as that would make it totaly useless but 3-5% is alot more fair. EDIT: nevermind. it seems that it can hit multiple time as it penetrates and therefor can hit a player worth 2 or 3 ticks. And with that i agree that it should only deal the penalty once. Take the cloak/uber drain, put it on the Short Circuit. Give the Pomson something else entirely in its place. Bam. You can thank me later.
Or, failing that, just skip step 1 and give the Pomson something else entirely. Draining uber with a penetrating long-range spamgun is just dumb. |

but if you can score many solid hits, then good for you for stoping an ubercharge and hurting a medic a good amount! |
