Have you tried reinstalling Steam? If you do, be sure to move your steamapps folder so you don't have to reinstall your games.

If you want a response from somebody who actually worked on steam then you'll need to contact steam support.
Anyway, are you able to access the steam community via a web browser? If you are able to then that suggests a problem with your steam installation, inwhich case do what Bluz suggested. If you still can't then you need to contact steam support. Also, do you receive any error codes when you attempt to access the steam community? |

AS it stands, I can't make much sense of your question; I'm not sure what you expect to happen or what you're witnessing, and I don't know what your specific issue is. You might want to read the reporting problems post if you want some hints on asking a clear question.

Your best course of action is to submit a ticket to support, since you haven't really provided any info here, that would aid anyone in troubleshooting your problem.
Since you mentioned having trouble viewing Steam Support, try going through your web browser instead of the Steam Client. |

What happens when you try to open the support website in your web browser? Do you get a blank page? Do you get an error page from your browser ? If you do see an error page, what does it say ? |

I have the same problems. I can't view the community, news, profiles, store, etc in either the steam application or on firefox/internet explorer. I've reinstalled steam, played with settings, and many other things but I haven't been able to find a fix.. I get error -101.
