Daily Deal: Is it worth it?

Game is currently featured as a daily deal. How is it? Is it a must-have for adventure fans?

Have not played it but it has been panned by the reviewer and users over at Adventure Gamers as a disastrous mess. They have unanimously called it a dud of a game.

Well, the reviews seem to be rare, I'd like to here some more.

Don't buy it.
It's a senseless mess, most of the time you're left clueless wandering around poking anybody you meet in hope of something to happen.

A real shame, the game looks great but is let down by awful voice acting and out of place music. I thought I'd left a web page open at one point and thought an ad had started up, but it was the in game music, it really grated. Fortunately you could turn the music off, but unfortunately I'm £1.74 out of pocket.

I really wanted this to be good, ever since first hearing of it and seeing the cool screenshots, but as you've all seen by now there seems to be too much aggravation involved. It's based upon a Russian sci-fi detective novel.

It´s pretty terrible,avoid it at all costs,I also got it on a sale and I really regret it.

I quite like this game, its very tricky and the voice acting is weird but "funny"

not as good as broken sword games but just a bit awkwardly differant

Wow. I actually don't like these kinds of adventure games, but the fans usually rave about them, so i was going to give this one a try, it being so cheap.

But after taking in the full scope of conveniently available reviews -- basically this thread and the metacritic* page -- not only am I not going to buy the game, but I think this might be a legitimate candidate for "this game is so bad it shouldn't even be sold on steam". At the very least I know there are more-worthy products that have been turned down. So, just saying that based on valve's own apparent attempt at having standards.

*And for the record, I don't put very much faith in "professional" critic reviews, and only slightly more in the aggregation thereof (i.e. metacritic), but hey, bad is bad, and when u see "all red", well, perhaps that's a worthwhile indication.

why do so many just blindly follow one persons opinion?

I remember ps1 games, games that got ONE out of 10 and TWO and THREE I actually enjoyed the game, there was one game that got 1 out of 10, similar to resi evil 2 but in space, it was an AWESOME game but forgot the name of it
