Hey, everyone!

Thought I'd drop this one in here for anyone interested that may not have already heard. Yesterday saw the release of Auditorium on Steam and the launch of our Kickstarter for the sequel, Auditorium 2: Duet! That's right! We're fixing to make a sequel to Auditorium. But like the first, we won't be able to do it without your support. Instead of PayPal donations though, this time around we've turned to Kickstarter to help cover part of the cost of development. Auditorium 2: Duet is going to be bigger, better, and -- most importantly -- it's going to be multiplayer. The game will also have a single player mode, but the true spirit of the game will be multiplayer. Auditorium 2: Duet will also be the first of our games to support Steam features from the get go.

We brought Auditorium to Steam by popular demand. It's the same as what you would get with the paid web version without having to go through the browser. The Steam version of Auditorium also uses a level selection overlay menu similar to Auditorium HD that the web version doesn't have. But this is as far as we plan to go with the original Auditorium. Our future development work is focused on the sequel, Auditorium 2: Duet. We'll be developing Auditorium 2: Duet in Unity instead of Flash, and the game will be designed from the very beginning to support Steam features such as cloud support, leaderboards, and achievements.

So we hit our $60k Kickstarter goal for Auditorium 2: Duet, and just in the nick of time, too! Duet gained more than 30% of its funding in the last 3 days alone. We can't thank everyone enough for coming out of the woodwork at the last minute to help us out! As a show of gratitude, we have a couple goodies for you.

We've got less than 2 days to go on our Kickstarter. So be sure to get any last minute pledges in soon to take advantage of the Kickstarter exclusive rewards. Remember, anyone pledging gets a free copy of Fractal. Thanks again! We couldn't have done this without the support of our fans.

Everyone is using kickstarter these days. Makes me wonder how anyone managed to make games before it.
