Problem with MP is you're generally stuck at 3x speed or it starts to lag. Some counts or dukes can be spectacularly boring at 3x instead of 5x. I was an Irish duke while my friend was a Spanish king and I went off and made a sandwich at one point without anything happening before I came back.

There's also a frequent bug involving loading a multiplayer save. Specifically, you usually can't do so.

Best way around that I've found is to make sure the save state as fully loaded for the host before any other players joins. Then join one at a time if there's more than 2 of you. So far it's not let us down. Why the Paradox refuse to compress their save files before transfer is beyond me.
