6850 FTW

Ok I recently pruchased a xfx 6850 1gb videocard and lemme tell u guys... that piece of hardware might not be the latest best thing out there, but it is up for the job. I run Metro 2033 at maximum quality FULL HD with honor! That should be an achiev too XD

That goes for the low budget guys out there like me that may be thinking of aquiring it...

He got what was coming to him bragging about his card "maxing" out the game when everyone knows his card is too weak to play the game smoothly while maxed. I mean sure his card and even weaker cards can definitely crank the settings to maximum, but will it be playable?, hell no, not even close.

Ontop of that, harmless post?, i think it is a pretty harmful and misleading post. I mean people might be looking for a cheap video card to play this game at maximum settings smoothly and they come across this post thinking "oh a cheap 6850 can max this game great?, im totally buying it for metro 2033 then", only to find out that on maximum settings the game will run like utter **** with that card. Harmless topic huh.

Hate it when people talk crap like this, claiming to max out a game , bragging and everything.

yeah I simply cant stand when ignorant folks make ridiculous claims because it completely misleads others.

and for the record here is the 6850 getting a whopping 12.7 fps on max settings(without physx of course) in Metro 2033 bench at 1920. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/A...D_7870/17.html
