Update broke steam

Since the patch, steam keeps trying to validate team fortress 2 files without me even telling it to. Each time it says I don't have enough space to play the game when I have 120GB free. Tried restarting steam and now I can't play any game as it comes up with the error "Cannot run game. You currently have another game launch in progress" while steam continues trying to validate TF2 by itself :|

That sounds like something is blocking Steam...

Restart your computer, otherwise...
