Vac and Singleplayer Trainers.
I'm always finding new things I want to patch out or edit myself in games. Usually I do this via mod tools, but for some without SDKs, and depending on the caliber of the change... I use artmoney or other memory hacking tool.
It's my understanding that the only way this triggers VAC is when used online correct? As long as I am just playing singleplayer, i'll be okay right? What if I unplugged my Ethernet... would it register at all? Just curious as to what is (VAC wise) illegal |

VAC is only active if you are connected to a VAC protected multiplayer server in a game that is VAC protected (Duh!). Singleplayer does not equal multiplayer.

I would say thanks and give rep, but that was a little condescending.
Good info nonetheless. |
