PAYDAY future

First WELCOME to the 50 000 new users !

Welcome to the game and to the community. Just to recap to you and to the veterans whats in the pipeline (and I talk the next 4 months until summer time)

1. Updates. We keep looking at when you play (yes... creepy) and read these forums and mails. From that we do updates. We have a BIG update done for the PC called update 6. It is to be released mid this month. It has new difficulty levels, veteran memorabilia, new enemy tactics, new events for all levels, new challenges and masks, a loong fix list (like more mouse lag fix, network fixes and small new convenience features)

2. DLC will expand the game 50% in levels and weapons in a couple of steps. Some will be free and some will be paid.

3. We have begun doing something evil as well. Something SICK! But more info on that you have to find in the levels from the time of the new update and out...

Again fantastic to see 12 600 players an hour play for the Free Weekend and super to see so many stay on. It helps us push PAYDAY even further with our 30 man team.

Let's do this!

I'd kinda hope it's free.

Free plus advertising its free = larger community

paid DLC = same community, but only a few will purchase it

What about versus mode?

Hi

No versus for this update, we go all in for co operative. When we feel we maxed that out we will look at versus.

Well this dissapointed me a bit :/ I hope it gonna be something really intresting, not like stupid DLC in Dead Island 4 example what cost 10$ and dont give anything cool.

Any support for more than just 4 players? It's 6 of us online that was to play payday together, but are limited to just 4. It's kinda bad...

If this means the entire lifecycle of planned DLC will only be adding 3 more maps to the game, let me respond in a word: "more!"

Guns are certainly welcome but it's the environments/missions that are going to really extend the replayability of the game.

Somehow reusing the existing environments for alternate game modes would go far as well. (No ideas, ATVM, really .. just throwing that out there.)

I'm sure it's not news that SDK/mod tools would also be quite welcome.

As others have said "throwing money at the screen..."

just a quick question and then I'll let all you lucky pc guys get back to drooling.

Is this going to be released for the PS3 at the same time?
The patch mid-month and future DLC
I can't wait for anything new paid or not.

Oh, there is a possibility that Versus might come even before PAYDAY 2? That's surprising

Well considering they sound like they will stick with payday for awhile we may see many updates with the game.

VERY Cool. Awesome to see PayDay hogging the #1 spot on Steam. Obviously, you Overkill guys have done something right (!). The additional A.I. features and scenario elements are superb pursuits for us Heisters... more variety is always good.

One thing though - if you ever run out of ideas for PayDay, don`t do Versus... just switch to a new co-op theme with new characters & elements...

Please keep versus out of this game, I know there is seemingly a lot of clamoring for it, but versus can spawn such a vile community, Overkill's current ideology sticks out from other games. I like it as is, because it gives more concern to the co-op experience as a whole.
