Is it still alive? DVD is available for less than 5 bucks, but I'm affraid I find MP completely dead. Gonna wait till I get an answer to pull the trigger.
Thanks in advance.

Check this
http://www.gametracker.com/search/ffow/

Frontlines was a decent BF like game (with some huge maps, lots of vehicles, insane audio effects)

BUT.. 98% of the servers only have 2 maps in rotation (Solar Farm and Hindsight)

That's the reason why I stopped playing.

The singleplayer is really fun though. Definitely worth the price of M&Ms anyway.

One of my all time favorite games. $5 would have been a steal! I tried the MP once and got sniped as soon as I spawned. Forget it. (reminded me of BF1942's spawn snipers)

The SP has such cool toys to play with, and there's tanks. Gotta love tanks!

I really love the lives system, since it lets you act like an idiot without having to worry about dying. I had a lot of fun clearing out a base by running around and planting C-4 on all the enemies.

At the time of this post there are currently 25 players disseminated among five different servers.

Betterz do wutz deyz tells ya to dooz or no Frontlinez for U!!!

Who ya gonna run too when you get banned from all four servers and only left to play with that one weird guy on the fifth server?

This outpouring of games with a short campaign and no bots is pretty cool - it makes people with the games easier to manipulate less they not find servers that will accept them.
