Hey,
I reconfigured my sprint key to Shift, run is now alt and this combo has been fine for the past 3 hours!!!! My inventory hasn't reached its weight limit either. I'm trying to defeat Vals Veran in the Ancestral Worship quest if that means anything to anyone. Sprint sometimes works if you awkwardly hold W+Shift+Alt.... Pls help me fix this! u.u |

also
Now I can't even walk at the regular speed. It's as if my inventory is full but it's way under. I moved run to shift and sprint to alt. Alt now does nothing.

Have you tried:
(easiest) Running Skyrim as Administrator? (I'm not sure if Verify Game Integrity -whatever it's called- will work for a keybindings problem or not in this one. Could try that too.) Reloading a previous save to see if it affects ALL of your games, even earlier ones where you're sure it was working? (fairly easy) Resetting all your keybindings to Default and starting over with custom binds again? Just to make sure something didn't get screwed up somewhere. (a little more involved) Deleting your custom skyrimprefs.ini file and letting Skyrim regenerate it? Don't mess with the one in the GAME directory. You want the one in your My Documents folder. (don't have access to my PC with Skyrim on it right now, sorry.) (the worst) Taking a look at your default keybindings file? And editing it manually if it's messed up? Hopefully you don't have to reinstall the whole game for one tiny file. Surely there's a better solution. Last edited by HitDeity: 03-07-2012 at 04:59 AM. |

Also this: Sometimes when your companion goes down on one knee they will stay like this even when their health is back to full. They will crawl around on the floor. This can be fixed by punching them, zoning to a new area, or re-loading a save. |

I've had it reverse my caps-lock setting when I hold down the walk key for a while when I'm sneaking. I start off with it on always run, caps lock off. Then after sneaking alot (holding walk key) and moving around for a while, when I go back to normal non-sneak mode, the always run is off and I have to hit caps lock to get back to that mode. Kind of weird but happens pretty regularly to me.

Yeah I'd suggest trying the multiple "caps lock" suggestions first.
