Cry of Fear mod VAC?

Will the mod cause a VAC ban? I joined a Cry of Fear VAC-enabled server but after that I deleted HL1 and all of my goldsource games. I never ran any VAC-enabled games after that.

I searched through the forums but there was not really a definite answer.

.........no.... it won't.
Crappy console ports are truly the norm nowawadays, to the point where people fear bans for one of the things that makes PC gaming amazing.

so you joined a VAC server specifically for the mod you got.. and you're afraid of being banned because of said mod..

sarcasm aside, no

Since when is Half life 1 a console port? And what makes it crappy?

His question is perfectly valid. Remember Paranoia mod?

It isn't... as far as I know . I think what he was trying to say is that these days, there are so many (crappy) console port games out there, that people have lost touch with the fact that they DO have a PC, and they CAN mod and edit files and such.

I did not join other GoldSrc VAC enabled games. Only Cry of Fear VAC-enabled servers. So does that result in VAC ban? They did use a modified opengl32.dll similar to Paranoia. So does that result in me getting flagged for VAC ban?
