Very Final Fantasy XI inspired

I've played literally only ten minutes of this game but the similarities to ffxi are striking, especially the races (humans, elves, a female only race, a large, hulking, male-only race, a tiny cute person race...) Even the human starting gear looks amazingly similar to Hume starting gear in ffxi.

Then there's other things I noticed in this brief time: bazaars on afk players, the music...

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it just struck me as odd.

edit: Oh, and three nations.

It appears to me that there is only one original MMORGP -- the first one. They are all in some way or another blatant rip off of one another. You could also say it's very WoW inspired just as easily.

I'm not talking about the features that nearly every mmorpg has, I'm talking about specific things that only this game and ffxi have.

I agree with ya OP, I definitely get FFXI vibes but the game really looks pretty darn awful..

I've never even played FFXI and I can see it in this game from having played FFXII, FF Tactics and Vagrant Story.
