Kill score not changing.

Since I kind of suck I try not to look at my score too much but the other day I wrote it down to see how much I needed for a 1/1 KD ratio. My kills stood at 8273 with 8111 deaths.

Today I checked again and my kills are at 8273 and my deaths are 8402....

Wtf is going on? I know I killed a few...lol.

What's the point? Are you care of pointless statistics which can be hacked with free primal software by a child?

Personally I like to know if I'm getting better or worse - now it seems my kill points are going missing. I lose enough kill points to cheating scum, let alone a bug in the game.
Why would anyone bother playing if they weren't trying to improve.

I feel the exact same way, apparently other people play for "fun" what ever that is.

Dont mind verolom2012. Hi is just so darn 1337 that he dont need to look at stats to know that he is good.
But for the rest of us that like to follow our progress ingame its a good thing to see if we are (or not) improving. But here is a suggestion: Take a screenshot of your scoreboard once in a while. That way you can see your progress.
And for your problem try to verify the game cache. Hope it helps.

I think I just figured it out maybe...

8273 Kills 8111 Deaths = 162 the difference.
8402 Kills 8273 Deaths = 129 the difference.

What are the freakin odds I'd recheck when my kills matched my deaths days before...lol.

Seems I am improving slightly with the new gun

That indeed is a coincidence.

Not to rain on your parade...but sort of to rain on your parade...you need the difference to get higher as you get more deaths for your ratio to go up.

LOL @ verifiyng game cache... You don't uderstand what this function does, do you?

Brah, do not care about in-game statistics. You can get "worse" in terms of statistics, but this means that you were playing with good players (or hackers) and your k/d ratio drops down. Or you just having a bad day. BUT. The one and only thing to improve your gameplay is... practice. Play a lot, play with good players, try harder. If you want to be better. There is no other way (except for hacking ).

Errrr....no, I need the numbers to become level to get a 1/1 ratio - so smaller number is better.

I just started leveling up a new weapon and I was getting my kicked while I learned how to use it effectively - so not dying 10 times for every kill is great

I started using a P90 - no idea i it considered a "noob" gun or not. I usually go for gold then swap weapons.

It's not. Any whining about any sort of noob gun is just complainers(Only one that can come close is mp7 if any). Once you get more familiar with all the weapons and improve aiming a ton etc... AR's generally net you a higher kd then SMG's if that's what your primarily working on.

why do you want a 1/1 ratio? that would be lower than your current k/d?

and you are correct in that sense, you need those number to match if you want it to be 1/1, although I'm still confused as to why you'd want your ratio to go down

What gamemode you play? I used to play DEMOLITION only , loved it in MW2 and Black Ops. In MW3 it's nice but then I switched to S&D first it was regular SD I was in top 1000 and then moved to S&D HC (in top 10k maybe?)

i've been accused of hacking so many times

if you care about ratio try playing some S&D HC at least

I'm old school - TDM, DM and now the occasional ground war - which is just a bigger TDM. None of the rest interest me - I tired a few, but didn't enjoy them.
