The Grand Theft Auto achievement is for opening 20 cars. I recall detonating a car at a gas station, and I've opened countless bins and pulled down motel signs, but I've yet to open a single car.... What am I doing wrong?

There are countless cars, transporter etc. scattered around the campaign levels. I have overseen them at first too, but if you concentrate on them you find many of them. For instance Act 3 Level 1 Block 3, there is a transporter where you can open the rear doors. On some cars you can only open the trunks or one of the side doors.

And you just click on them to open them, right? Strange, I've clicked all over umpteen cars and nothing's happened - and I've just finished all the levels in Acts 1 & 2!

Hmm, strange. In Act 1 Level 2 Block 5 I have found another transporter. Just keep an eye open and by the way you already have found two cars, yet

So, just keep on the zombie hunt and you have that in no time

Yep, I just played through Act 3, Level 1 and got two cars. There was no sound or visual indicator during the game so I guess it's just a matter of clicking like crazy and hoping for the best, huh? Thanks for replying, by the way. Much appreciated.

Each car counts individually, or any car counts the same?

Any car counts the same. Once I realised that the achievement was a breeze.

The easiest way is "Act 1 - LvL 5"

There are 2 cars over there, repeat the level 10 times and u'll have the achievement
