Don't buy this game.

I had mw2 for the xbox and enjoyed multiplayer very much. So I decided to purchase it for the PC....Takes 10+ minutes to find every game. Usually a hacker. And the now EVERYTHING is unlocked. They took the joy of accomplishing something and ruined it. How do hackers still find their way into steam?

nope you have to wait 10 minutes when you start the game so start the game go get a snack or do something then come back and you can play all you want and i have seen 1 cheater past month all of them in mw3 now

MW2 is one of the best games on PC. It takes just a long time to find a lobby because there aren't so much player anymore

Last night payed for about 4h with my friends.. only 1 hacker in SnD, who left cuz we took out ouer riot shields and pwned him ^^

Games take anywhere from 30sec-3mins on first search for me, but after that it takes 10 to 1min..

Did you ever try any of the older Battlefield games? They still work flawlessly.

Acually they do have problems too, but yes they are aloth better supported then cod's

You do realise not everybody purchases COD for Multi-Player lol. Single player campaign and specs ops is really good.

FoV is capped, dev console is restricted, FPS is capped @91 (which is okay for some games, but the Quake Engine needs a good solid 125/250 to feel "right"), no dedicated servers, game is incredibly noob friendly (tubes, ridiculous killstreaks, akimbo, etc).

Even when I can manage to find a game, it NEVER has good connection like CoD4 does (under 60 ping). And because of the 91fps cap, the game feels clunky and stuttery. FoV is easy to bypass and get to 90, but why the hell should I be forced to use an external program just to comfortably play the game?

Remind me again how this game is great, let alone on PC?

it seems to take ages to get into a game these days, and as for hackers, the game is still riddled with them, they seem to have had a pop at MW3 and come back to MW2!

Op is right, I brought this game on sale, and I still regret it. There was one solution to fix this problem with hackers.. but activision took care of that.

I play almost everyday and other than the occasional cheater and hacked lobby I hardly have any problems. This game is one of the top 10 played games on steam, that has to tell you something.
