Tips for lower league sides

Anyone got any good tips or tactics for managing a lower league side? can't seem to win!

First of all, although it's a game, don't expect to win most of matches. As you're short on money try to sign players on free transfers, play friendlies at preseason to earn some money...And of course exploit strong sides of your players, analyze opponents tactic and squad to find their weakest spot.
