Where's the bodies?

So, I've noticed this several times now.
I'll get into a big fight with several things. One example are the death knights in the tombs/treasure map quest. After I finally kill the last one (and this all happens in less than a minute), I'll go to loot them all and there's only like 1 or 2 bodies left. All others have disappeared. Why does that happen sometimes but not other times? bugged?

If there's a necromancer amongst the enemies you fight he'll resurrect fallen companions. When you kill the resurrected they leave no bodies. If you want loot it's best to target the necromancer first, that way he will be unable to resurrect anyone and you'll have more bodies.

Resurrections happen quickly too and can be hard to even see happening.

Thanks Pumpkin Master, that is probably what happened. It makes sense too, I remember some guys getting back up and thinking to myself, maybe I didn't kill them all the way the first time.

Those Necromancers are well powerful with poison staffs, always kill them first, they usually have 2 or 3 grunts with them and the Necromancer stays well back usually.
