Exclamation System Requrements for L4D2

Dos any body knows what kind of Linux system requrements have to be to host 4 players co-op or 8 players versus without lag, game pauses and so on ?

I can't find the answer, steam support dont help eather :/

Minimum specs are not very high. What kind of machine are you thinking of using?

I have dedicated server with Ubuntu x32, CPU 4 GHz (2 x 2 GHz), 2GB RAM, 100mb/s internet connection, dos it fit recomended or minimum ?

Recommended. You'll be fine for an 8 slot server.

I think it's like a 3.2 pentium 4 with 512kb of ram, and a 512kb/s uplink or something ridiculously low like that. You really need very little to host a server.

This is not ture, if you get a panic event where a hoard of zombies spawn at once an 8 player server can honistly use a full core of a 3ghz CPU and 800MB of ram and about 2MB/s Upload rate.

Ok, so thinking ahead, there are 8 players in the server and DC map, 3rd chapter, the mall, survivors are getting ready to break the window, and rush to turn off the alarm, so how much maximum of resoursces the server may use in this event ?
