Jumpy scroll is still present in News and (a bit less) in Store. Valve, please stop working on other features and fix this damn thing!

I'm having copious amounts of lag in general on the steam client. Even moving between items in the store is taking a long time but, what i find extremely odd about it, is that my library and such is still working fine.

Someone borked the store

Nope still have the micro stutter using mouse wheel in client.
I cannot understand why valve has not fixed this?

Its been going on since the last few updates.
So annoying looking at the store now using the client.

When looking at screenshots, mouse wheel scrolling just stops working as well. It's very odd and only started happening recently. http://youtu.be/yIN53hehomk

I had same problem but this fixed it for me.
Steam settings / Interface / untick Enable DirectWrite for improved font smoothing and kerning.
Font looks a bit clearer now for me and all smooth again.

Nope still the same prob.
But now with it un-ticked,the font looks uglier.

Maybe its because some of us set our own scroll speed (6 lines compared to the standard 3 lines). I remember this was an issue in the very first beta as well.

Wow that fixed it.
So now we know where the prob lies.

Setting the mouse to scroll 6 lines instead of three lines fixes it.
just need valve to fix it for 3 lines then.
