Can't view inventory or trade

Since the latest Steam client update has anyone else had problems viewing their inventory from within the client or trading? When I try to view my inventory I just get a blank box where the items should be and when trading it just times out when trying to list my items on the trade window. I've tried reinstalling Steam without success. When viewing my inventory in a browser it works fine, it just seems to be within the client that it doesn't work.

I never really trade things in games except for occasionally in TF2 to get the latest weapons and such. Lately however valve has switched over to all steam trading and disabled in tf2 trading.

Steam trading however does not work for me.

It used to work maybe 5% of the time with the other 95% of the time it would just disconnect on the other person's side of the trade and just give me a blank trade page. But recently I've had no luck at all getting trades with steam trade to work.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks to the latest move on Valve's part I dont have any other options for trading in game now.

Yup, and going to my profile gives me a 500 error.

I tried to find a fix for it for a really long time, and nothing
I have this problem since the steam trade was in beta
reported it while in beta never was fixed, it happens the exactly same thing it happens to you
almost never works
need to try like 20 times to 1 work
just black screen 99% of the time

since they changed the really good tf2 trade system for this I'm ♥♥♥♥ed

Yea. It's been a real hassle for me and my acquisition of new items

No, I mean not since the last update. Steam trading always "worked" this way. About 70% you get only black screens, you must keep trying to re-trade more times till it's ok. Too bad the TF2 trade got removed, now it's a real pain to trade.

I've been having a problem with trading for at least 5 Months. Every time somebody sends me a trade in Team Fortress 2 it opens it and then it just stays as a black screen and then a message pops up saying Timed Out. No matter what time of the day it is I get the same Results. I've tried looking for a solution but apparently nobody else has this problem.

Please Help!
