Multiplayer Crashes
Bought a new copy of MW, did an install from cd (putted it on drive D
Singleplayer runs, multiplayer says problem IWMP3.exe and shuts down. MW2 and MW3 runnig perfectly.OS: Windows 7 64 bit, 6Gb DDR3, GTS250 Video, I7 Watercooled. Anyone a solution ?? Or disable microphone would do the same trick.

were is this option is it in game or on windows or on steam becasue i am having the same issue please i just bought a new computer and im having the same problem
Ok i found how to fix it at least for me and im using windows anyhow do the following what the last guy said was right but he did not really give a good understanding anyhow Do the following -Control Panel -Sound -Recording tab -Right click in the box and select "show disabled devices" -"Stereo Mix" should then appear -Right click it -Enable -Apply -OK Last edited by shadedemonic: 03-19-2012 at 08:54 PM. |

You don't have to enable the stereo mix function to solve the problem. Just disable the mic and optionally disable teamspeak functions in CoD to make it crash free. It's an old CoD proplem.
