Anybody finished Story mode?

Can't beat final boss, when he leavs his castle

Can you share any advice?

Is it only me, or there are no online matches at all?

Yes I have finished the campaign. the final is a good one. You would have to build a maze for the boss guy. (first make sure that his base is down). Once he enters the maze there will only be one exit, as soon as he gets close to the exit/your base then open another way for him and close the first one. Forcing him to turn around and go through the second exit. When he gets close to the second exit then open the first one again and close the second. Repeat this until your towers kills him. Be sure to rebuild any fallen towers since this guy is really powerful.

Also, I have played MP with a friend - so it works. I have seen a few servers but ben unable to join them for some weird reason. I hope the developers can make it better, they made a better control patch really fast =D

I tried it twice now, and both times his base didnt take ANY damage at all after he spawned.

The second time I managed to hold him and his troops off for quite some time, but eventually he moved too close to my air defense towers and broke through them like nothing.

It´s kinda pain in the a.. to defend against him and his troops...

I`ll not be finishing this game... too difficult on the final boss, too much work to try to succeed. The difficulty curve takes an enormous spike upwards at this end point, to incredibly lofty heights.

Otherwise its not bad. Disappointed that (?) only the fighter and the mage have Hero-class units available.

There is a spot on the map that has a glowing green pillar above it, you have to look for awhile, it moves around a bit. It should be on the right or left of the center area. If you build a tower there it will be able to damage the last guy. All you have to do is lure him close to that spot by opening/closing opposite ways into your base so that he walks back and forth past that area. I just kept building a crystal tower there and any other tower near it. Even though he destroys the towers quickly, the crystal gets a shot or two off and after a few crystal shots he dies rather fast. You may need to use wizards to clear an enemy tower off the spot.

Also all units have a hero, you only get to use the first three heroes you unlock by gaining level 3 with a unit. Dwarf and wizard heroes pretty much destroy anything.

Thanks for the info, although I *know* I had the Elven Archers maxxed up, and I can`t recall seeing any Elf Hero character becoming available.
