FPS issues

I've used X360CE for connect a controller. But when I use it, game goes on slow motion and only when I unplug it game returns at normal speed. Anyone know why?

Normal speed, anyway, is very slow.

Win7 Home premium 64bit on a Intel Core i7-720QM @ 1,6 GHz and 4GB DDR3 RAM.
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, 1920x1200 @ 60Hz

All graphics setting very low, PhysX off.
And every other apps (antivirus, firewall, browsers, background services) are turned off

Benchmark? 7 FPS pos E.

It seems to me very strange. Any tips?

maybe X360CE is somehow demanding, taking up too much cpu, are there alternatives or just using the controller's own drivers directly?
