Question Stuck Hostages and Bot Ping?

Two questions, figured I'd post them in the same meassage thread...

I've seen several maps where the hostages' heads get "stuck" in the ceiling (ala "Philadelphia Experiment" style LOL!). Quite comical looking too, as their body is suspended in the air, with their head stuck in the ceiling... and all you can see is from the neck down <grin> ( screenie -> http://steamcommunity.com/id/RichNag...37023930613850 ).

Any idea of what causes this? Once they are stuck; of course, you can't get them to follow you (playing as a Counter-Terrorist) <aarrgghh>.

Second question (re: these pics http://steamcommunity.com/id/RichNag...75452247939131 / http://steamcommunity.com/id/Ghost46...63759155079870 / http://steamcommunity.com/id/RichNag...53130360491046 ):

I'm assuming that the ping value displayed at the top-right of the ping column in the scoreboard is supposed to be the average ping of all players on that team?

If so, is there any way to force Counter-Strike (or Day of Defeat, and I'm assuming Half-Life as well) to NOT figure in the bots' ping of "0" for the average ping that is displayed?

Question 1: It has to do with poorly made hostage mesh files. I guess maybe the mesh file actually forces their heads into the textures or something... But I really don't know.

Question 2: I've seen that number and thought it might be average ping, but I've frequently seen it well above what the average would be (like 120 when everybody has a ping in the 30s or something), so I'm not sure if it is really average.

Thanks for the info

It's really a weird thing with the hostages, as all of the NAV meshes look fine to me. And another strange thing... I just noticed that after one of them is stuck for a short while, they will "warp" back to one of their spawn points.

Here's another screenie -> http://steamcommunity.com/id/RichNag...11256382502125 ... can't figure out for the life of me how the hell he got stuck up there.

You know, one thing I noticed: the hostage models appear to be a bit _TALLER_ than the regular player models. Hmmmm....
