The EMPnuke
idea for engie or any other class secondary: The EMPnuke
looks like this: http://www.mobygames.com/images/shot...a-emp-nuke.jpg (pic is from a quake 2 mission pack/mod) when used, (sparks come out of it), every enemy 4-6 feet near you cant shoot for 10-15 sec with specific guns (GL, SL, RL, etc can shoot, minigun, shotguns, pistols etc cant shoot) and when they try to press M1 then it makes the shooting animation and a muffled sound comes out of the gun, gun wont shoot. gud idee? share ur ideas. this wep could also have some downsides to balance it ? it already has a downside of it replacing ur shotgun/pistol Last edited by Krish11: 03-22-2012 at 02:42 AM. |

Oh. Do we really need another short circuit? I mean, if it disarms anyone who's close, they could just pull melee out and kill you.

what, its a bad idea, thats why no one is writing.
the short curcuit doesnt block weapons. you can still fire rockets and grenades at engis buildings and himself. it depends on the players timing and aim of the SC. your idea is a major nuisance, as the sandman was a big nuisance. its not like hitscan classes are a big problem for the engi, except a heavy who is relatively near to the sg. it just halts combat, makes games last longer and is just rage inducing to play against. also 10 seconds is an awful lot time. that aside, hilarity would ensue if everyone in that radius is forced to use melee for 10 seconds. that hilarity would vanish after a few days though and people would be enraged again. |

TF2 needs more nukes. This might be a bit overpowered though, how about not giving it to the Engie until his Sentry gets 10 kills?

Sounds good, but we'll need more content in the area of Sentry kills before it's a worthwhile concept. How about some sort of anti-aerial weapon he can deploy to hit rocket-jumping Soldiers?
