Prototype 2 has at least one DAY 1 DLC
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnAJi...92FAAAAAAAABAA
In the video at 2:25 and 3:00 you will see on the bottom right these things only available in the Colosall Mayhem DLC. Now I can say I don't care for this game being delayed or for anything for that matter. |

That's not DLC. Or at least, it's a preorder bonus of some sort.

It's activision which answers to it's shareholders a lot like most other publishers that are NOT privately owned. Day 1 dlc and overpriced dlc in general is a great way of "monitizing" their product. Horrible but that's the deal.

Then stop buying this crap. I never bought a game from Ubisoft since they came up with this "always online" crap and I will not buy any €A games in the future since Origin and after I have seen what they have done with Mass Effect 3.
But people always complain and still games sell like hot cakes. I still remember, for instance, how Remedy stopped the development of "Alan Wake" for PC. And how they were babbling about how they wanted to give the best experience for the game and that for some reasen it could only be enjoyed in the best way while sitting on your couch with an Xbox controller in your hands. And all of a sudden Alan Wake pops up for the PC and people are buying the game and DLC like there is no tomorrow. No matter how interesting the game looks to me - I refuse buying this crap. Yesterday it was all "Oh nooo, Alan Wake will only work for consoles bla bla..." and today it is "Oh hell yeah, just look at this AWESOME game we brought to you PC gamers!"? Yeah, sure... stick your bloody game into some place were light never shines. Game publishers got greedy beyond any reason nowadays, but at least partially gamers can blame themselfes for that. So how can a company even please you? Stop making any games for consoles? At least be sensible with your malice. |
