Arkham Asylum door crash glitch

I am pretty early on in the game, and I just played through what I'm assuming is the first of many Scarecrow hallucinations. I ran a big circle around Scarecrow, avoiding his gaze until using the bat signal to blast him.

After which, Batman re-appears in the morgue, but the moment I go to the door to exit and hit Space, the game crashes. After this happens, I'm unable to start the game up again without manually entering the task manager to shut down a portion of the game that shows up in Processes first.

When the crash occurs, I'm given a long message filled with complex text that says "Rendering thread exception". I'm unable to copy/paste it, as the window it appears in does not allow it.

Try the normal ones first, Re-check the game cache and reinstall all the .net\dx stuff that comes with the game.
