Missable achievements?

So, now that I'm fighting my way through Valestein Castle on Normal I decided to read about some of these achievements and from what I can tell it seems I missed my chance to get 1/6 on "That's the last time, kid."

Is that true?

And are there any other missable achievements?

You may have missed it for this playthrough, but nothing is permanently missable. Especially if you kept old savegame files -- though even if you didn't, there's nothing preventing you from replaying the game on the same skill level somewhere down the line.

We don't EXPECT everyone to get every achievement, of course... they're just there if you're looking for something to make the fun last a little longer. (:

"Forever Alone", at least. Then there's "Legacy Pervert", and maybe even "Proficient Plunderer" and "Oblivious or Insensitive", but these three you can get on any single difficulty level.

I don't expect this either, and there's a good reason for that. There's at least 6 achievements that are *extremely* hard to get, so it's *very* unlikely that most of the players can get all of them. If I'd have to guess, I'd say that only 2 out of every 100 players could pull this off.

And the cheaters, of course.

I'm still wondering how some people had all the achievements the day the game was released... I mean other than the XSEED testers.

All of the achievements? I just checked the leaderboards and only two people beat the game on nightmare so far, unless they are playing in offline mode.

Since you can transfer your game saves from the Japanese version to this version and access you debug mode by beating boss rush nightmare mode, which by looking at the leaderboard no one has gotten yet, I would argue against the claim that people are cheating.

If you beat the game (or time attacks, etc) using the cheat keys, it doesn't get saved to your best times (this was also true in the Japanese version), and thus doesn't end up on the leaderboards either. That's one possible explanation.
