No text in game?

Yo dawgs!

My friend bough the game and she told me that it isn't working as supposed.

Text in menu doesn't show up as it should do:

I don't own the game so I really can't tell what excatly is wrong

And also later in the game when you're supposed to talk with someone, no text again:

I really don't know what's wrong so feel free to help

Make sure your friend has installed the latest update. Failing that, try following the troubleshooting steps here.

Now it's fixed. We just messed up with 02im and it started working

Thanks for the link, wasn't smart enough to look at other threads...
