Strange weapons/parts
I honestly think the strange counters should just be usable on ANY weapon, it would really even things up to be honest, it'll annoy those who were hording for profit but VALVe can keep the original stranges as unique items so they still hold value but have these counters people can buy or find or trade for to put on their favorite weapons.

WHY?
It ruins the purpose of having strange weapons, and has no real benifit. Also stop getting mad at "Hoarders" (collectors, really) because they have more ♥♥♥♥. It's unwarrented. AND your name makes me vomit blood. Le? Go.... BAK2REDDIT |

I don't see how it ruins it? it makes it possible for people to have these counters on any weapon they want, it could be a weapon they got as an achievement and means a lot to them.
As for the hoarding, I myself have the entire V collection of hats, among other things, keeping the original stranges keeps the value FOR the hoarders. As for my name, without the "Le" it was taken, thus, Le. |

If you want strange weapons, just go through the trouble of obtaining one. They're not that hard to get, really.
On the other hand, I wouldn't mind being able to craft strange weapons into strange metal that you can use to make other strange weapons. It'd be a good way to get rid of the duplicate weapons that nobody seems to want (fists, big earner, etc). |

Le I've got some stranges too, I'm not saying they're hard to obtain, I just don't like their implementation and honestly while they're able to be farmed, I won't be trying to get more *I just sort of came across the ones I have*
you would still have your current stranges, it wouldn't change that, it would just make it so these counters can be added to any weapon, originally strange or not. |

Le I don't see what's wrong with this. "Because there's already a way to obtain them" isn't a good enough reason to stop this from happening. These new counters are different from the old strange counters; therefore, letting people assign counters to non-stranges will not affect current stranges.

ah, you don't like the idea because you think it would devalue your machina despite it possibly being a better system. While I understand, keeping the original stranges as strange would keep most of their value and possibly drive them up more
