Auto-abilities!!!!!

I am playing science and quite the noob, however i might have turned something that causes my mines to auto-deploy anmd my regular abilities to periodically go off, since these are paramount to my (perhaps noobish) strategy i would like to know if this can be turned off, anybody an idea?

You probably turned on autofire. Right click the item in the weapons area of the hud to toggle autofire on/off. Autofire usually makes a green highlight around the weapon when on. Theres also additional options in esc/options/controls and under auto attack. Maintain option in auto attack means your guns keep targeting stuff automatically and firing after they have been fired once.
