Suggestion : Global Game Verifier

Global Game Verifier, Checks all games and validates the files of all downloaded games on your steam account, I have posted this back in Q2 2011 but I really think it is a good idea worth repeating. The more games that get added to Steam and the longer Steam is around the better of a idea will look, it's goal is to mostly keep everything up to date and save you a large amount of time checking each game.

I have a little over 60 games and this would save me about half a hour of manually checking each one.

Why would you manually check them? Steam updates them automatically and if your game doesn't work you can very easily verify that game.
