Barrow wight lord glitch

Just when I entered the room for the bossfight the screen went black for a few seconds.
Then there's speech about how we have to attack him but the guy is just lying there and the boss does nothing.
I've read that I can fix this by joining someone else who's a bit before the boss fight and fight the boss on his game.
So is anybody here on Heroic difficulty near that part in the game?
Or if you know another method to fix it....

Well I joined someone's game on the net that was in chapter 3.We defeated the boss and I could continue my game from there on.
ust in case anybody wants to know.
