It's not going to have mods which I don't care about. It's going to have split screen multiplayer which is awesome. It's going to take longer to get patched due to Xbox Live certification but this isn't really a big deal.

Will be a fun party game, as Minecraft already is.

With a nice, intuitive control set up, should be good.
It'll be interesting to see if it grabs the 360 crowd and what creations they'd come up with. Total Miner is ok but it's a bit second-rate. Cheap though. |

Is it going to be released for the PS3 too? My sister loves Minecraft, yet I almost never let her use my PC, which happens to be the only one in the house capable of running the game.

Almost certainly no/limited mods and probably no texture packs. Factor in the control scheme and that game was obviously made for PC.
Still, could be entertaining. I imagine multiplayer would work better. |

I can't imagine it becoming as popular for Xbox as it is for PC simply because the game's popularity revolves around the customization you won't have on the Xbox version.

I would say if it is going to be released on PS3, then it won't for a very long time.

Microsoft is gonna be milking it through Live Gold subscriptions.
I'm slightly disapointed in Mojang because they "cant bring minecraft to Steam because their terms limit how we can interact with our customers and product" then go on to release their product on one of the least in-touch and most restrictive services out there |
