Need help. Can't log in.....

Every time I attempt to log in, everything except the steam log in thing and the background disappears and the game just stay in this condition forever.
I have sought for technical support from gamersfirst but it didn't help.
Please lend me a hand..

I'm at work so can't help at the moment, but I know it's not just you. There has been a few other people having the same issue.

What is your operating system and video card?

In the mean time, I'd suggest doing the usual steps such as updating your video card drivers, re-verify the integrity of your game files through steam, and so on. Anything you "think" support would give you a canned response on go ahead and get over with.

Also, they are trying to roll out a patch around mid-April, so if all else fails, you could hope the new patch would resolve it.

My operating system is Windows XP 32bit,
I know this game is designed for 64bit systems,
so I expect something like this but it's been months

My VGA is GTS450, it's enough for me because the highest resolution of my old monitor is only 1024*768.

I think the driver would not be the problem because mine is the latest WHQL-certified one, and it is being changed whenever there is a new WHQL-certified driver after facing this problem.

same problem, but i have played APB befor, whenn it was in the beta than i have make a breck and now i cannot log in.

I'm having the exact same problem. After the game launches and goes through the intro video it says it is logging in through steam but it just stays at that screen and never actually logs in.

Same exact problem as you, but my background does not disappear like the TC said. Anybody got a fix. I just came home today and I have this problem.

Since I downloaded my APB: Reloaded from G1 I am just going to quit Steam and play like that. That way, I won't have to auto-login with Steam and I can sign in with my G1 account.

EDIT: Just tried it and I'm pressing log in, but nothing is happening...
Turns out, a lot of people today on the G1 forums are having the same exact problem.

got mine fixed it was punk buster. download pb setup and add game c/programfiles(86)/steam/steamapps/common apb. then update.you should be good. pm me if you need help cannon1973

Sounds like a lot of people are having this Punkbuster issue today. A few of my friends can't play due to it. Hope they fix it soon.

I think the login servers are down, again. If your in-game, don't disconnect.

I have this problem as well, but uh... My brother is sitting next to me playing the game just fine. He logged in with no issues. We were both playing just fine last night, but now I can't login and he can. Same problem, it tries logging in through Steam, stops, and gets stuck forever.

Anyone know a solution?
