Wheel Support?
I have a Logitech G25. Can anyone let me know if Ridge Racer unbounded supports wheels properly?
Can you also change the camera view to in-car or first person? Thanks in advance

I have a Logitech G27, I would love to know this too.
So far, I have only seen 2 camera views (from Team VVV) which are the classic bumper-cam and a chace cam. |

I too would like to know, the gameplay videos I have seen so far all appear to be by users using gamepads.

No wheel support I'm sorry to say. I figured it being bugbear and Flatout had support this would also. I'm very dissappointed, it has keyboard and Xbox 360 controller support only.

bummer, g27 here, really want an arcade type racing game with semi-realistic wheel support. dirt 3 has been my favorite for the mix of those 2 elements but id love a similar game in a city setting. anyone know of one?

No wheel support means skipping 3 sales for me and my boys. Too bad.

You wheel guys might like this, maybe not. Project Cars is a alpha testing sim/game that with a small cost ($13 for junior member which gets access to the build) is really far along and it quite awesome. It is made by the devs of Shift, Shift 2, and actually has quite a bit of content so far. Wheel support and full FF. They have probably 10-20 tracks now and at least as many cars. Mostly open wheel.
I been playing it for a few weeks now and really like it. http://www.wmdportal.com/projects/cars/ |

Project cars is amazing but it's also a full simulator, if you are looking for an arcade game in a city setting the latest Driver game is surprisingly decent despite being made by Ubisoft.

You can use a wheel you just gotta be a lil hacky about it.
Im using a PS3 controller right now. Theres a program called... x360ce that lets you emulate a xbox controller with any other controller or wheel. |

This is a really arcade style game. It's in no way intended to be a simulator of any kind. Puzzled how the wheel support would make or break a sale, but each to their own I guess. Not passing judgement, just sayin'...

Broke the sell for me!! Was looking forward to using the track editor.
![]() Been using a wheel for all my racing games since I bought my first MOMO for Flatout 1 ( 2005 ). No pad for the PCs here. I"m disappointed that Bugbear would release a console port ( no wheel support, no remapping of buttons, no text chat online ) for the PC. Bugbear should know better. I hope Bugbear has learn their lesson and will not repeat this mistake again. |
